Campgrounds: bookable online on the official site and accepted by HoldMyCamp for availability checks. First-come, first-served, permit-only and not-bookable-online areas are not counted.
The cabin product is open here, so campgrounds accepted for it are counted too.
Group, equestrian, day-use and boat sites do not make a campground count on their own for now.
Campsites: the sites still listed by the official site in those campgrounds. Retired sites are not counted.
Each site has exactly one kind: tent only, RV only, tent or RV, or Other (group, day-use, boat sites and the like), so the kinds add up to the total.
Cabins and lodging include cabins, yurts and lodges.
"With electricity" counts RV sites the official site marks as having power; sites that don't say are not counted.
Only booking systems whose search is open are counted. The numbers are recalculated from the catalog every few minutes.
